Jason Pollen is an innovative fibre artist, long time presidents of the association and an internationally exhibited artists.

Description:  The Art of Textile Collage

This class will provide a lively and innovative approach to textile collage and mark-making, using fusing, hand and machine stitching, as well as drawing and painting tools. You will repurpose and create patterned and painted small fabric and paper compositions. Harmony and dissonance, rhythm and mood, colour and texture will be the vocabulary you explore to expandyour personal visual language with expressive, communicative content.

The 2013 ANWG NW Weavers’ Conference has published its first newsletter.  You can sign up for the newsletter: http://www.anwg-conference-2013.com/.   Various new pages have been added to the conference website so have a look at them.

To publicize the conference ANWG conference has created a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/2013NWWeaversConference) and a Twitter page ( https://twitter.com/@NWWeaversConfer).  

Next newsletter will be published around May 23 and will focus on the instructor line-up for 2013.  The conference newsletter will come out monthly on-line except in July and August.
