The Surface Design Association, BC Chapter, is proud to present a lecture by Jason Pollen , renowned President Emeritus of the Surface Design Association. Jason studied at the City College of New York, and worked at the Royal College of Art, London, and Parsons, New York, before joining the fibre department at Kansas City Art Institute. He exhibts his fibre based art internationally, and is widely known for his innovative approach. He is visiting Vancouver in June and the lecture, open to the public, will be held on Friday June 22, at Studio 1398, 1398 Cartwright Street, Granville Island. Tickets are $5 at the door. We will serve refreshments at 7pm, and the presentation will begin at 7:30.
